A strong case reaches the market already making sense.

Needs framing, case design, carrier and product evaluation, underwriting preparation, submission coordination, and placement support through approved relationships.

A case is a chain of evidence.

Each stage should make the next decision easier for the client, advisor, underwriter and carrier.

FRAME

Define the need

Purpose, amount, time horizon, ownership, funding capacity and success criteria.

DESIGN

Build the case

Structure, product category, guarantees, assumptions, premium pattern and alternatives.

PREPARE

Organize evidence

Medical, financial, business, ownership and compliance documentation.

SELECT

Choose the market

Carrier appetite, product fit, capacity, service, jurisdiction and approved access.

COORDINATE

Manage submission

Requirements, questions, records, status, offers and advisor communication.

PLACE

Deliver correctly

Offer review, final design, signatures, funding, ownership and delivery requirements.
Placement is never guaranteed. Final terms, ratings, capacity, product availability and issuance remain subject to carrier underwriting and approval.

Different planning needs require different evidence.

Select the case type closest to the opportunity. Complex cases may cross several lanes.

Connect Coverage to The People and Obligations It Protects.

The design begins with income replacement, debt, dependents, time horizon, existing coverage and the client’s ability to sustain premiums.

Need analysis

Income, obligations, duration and existing resources.

Medical preparation

Accurate history, treatment status and records path.

Product fit

Guarantees, flexibility, costs and risk tolerance.

Delivery plan

Owner, beneficiary, premium and review schedule.

Translate enterprise dependence into a supportable insurance need.

The case should connect key-person risk, debt, ownership, succession, valuation and the company’s capacity to fund and maintain coverage.

Business purpose

Key person, buy-sell, loan or executive benefit.

Financial evidence

Revenue, compensation, value, debt and premium source.

Ownership design

Entity, owners, trust, insured and beneficiary.

Agreement alignment

Match coverage to legal and funding obligations.

Coordinate Insurance Economics With the Legal and Tax Plan.

Estate cases require a documented liquidity need, sustainable gifting or funding, clear ownership direction and coordination with the client’s counsel and tax professionals.

Liquidity model

Expenses, obligations, taxes and illiquid assets.

Trust readiness

Trustee authority, application and premium process.

Funding evidence

Gifts, loans, split-dollar or other approved source.

Advisor signoff

Legal and tax assumptions confirmed externally.

Use enhanced diligence before financing or private-placement activity.

Premium financing, PPLI, PPVA and variable products require additional financial capacity, eligibility, securities, lender, investment, tax and compliance review.

Approval gate

Confirm permitted communication and licensed parties.

Financial resilience

Stress-test premiums, collateral and liquidity.

Offering diligence

Review carrier and securities documents.

Control protocols

Respect investment and administration limits.

Tell The Complete Story Once, Securely and Accurately.

Underwriting preparation does not change the facts. It organizes relevant facts so authorized parties can evaluate the risk efficiently.

MEDICAL

Health chronology

Diagnoses, dates, treatment, follow-up, stability, medications and current providers, supported by authorized records.

FINANCIAL

Coverage justification

Income, net worth, debt, business value, estate need, premium source and existing or pending insurance.

BUSINESS

Enterprise context

Ownership, revenue, compensation, valuation, loan purpose, buy-sell terms and key-person exposure.

LIFESTYLE

Activities and travel

Aviation, hazardous activities, foreign travel, residence, occupation and other carrier-specific considerations.

OWNERSHIP

Parties and Purpose

Applicant, owner, insured, beneficiary, trust or entity authority, premium payer and insurable-interest basis.

DISCLOSURE

Existing coverage

In-force policies, replacements, exchanges, financing, concurrent applications and required disclosures.
Secure-data rule: Do not send medical records, tax returns, identification documents, account statements or other sensitive information through ordinary email or the public form below. Use only WSG’s approved secure intake and carrier-authorized workflows after consent.

Fit matters more than quote count.

A meaningful comparison examines the contract, carrier, underwriting path and service model, not premium in isolation.

01

Contract guarantees

Death benefit, premium requirements, lapse protection, values and rider terms.

Contract

02

Non-guaranteed assumptions

Crediting, dividends, charges, index terms, investment performance and illustrated values.

Illustration

03

Underwriting fit

Carrier appetite, evidence requirements, capacity, reinsurance and likely classification.

Risk

04

Carrier profile

Financial strength, product administration, claims-paying ability and service capability.

Carrier

05

Planning fit

Ownership, premium sustainability, liquidity, flexibility, tax context and advisor requirements.

Strategy

Control the process without controlling the carrier's decision.

WSG coordinates the case through approved relationships while keeping authority, consent and status clear.

TRIAGE

Review readiness

Identify missing facts, unrealistic assumptions, licensing issues and the appropriate secure intake path.

MARKET

Sequence outreach

Use informal inquiry or formal submission only where permitted, appropriate and authorized.

NEGOTIATE

Clarify offers

Coordinate requirements, underwriting questions, reconsideration evidence and carrier communication.

DELIVER

Complete placement

Confirm final design, signed illustration, delivery documents, premium, ownership and post-issue review.
WSG support is limited to carriers, producers, broker-dealers, lenders, vendors and other counterparties that are approved for the case. Licensing, appointments, jurisdiction, product availability and each party’s authorization must be confirmed before activity occurs.

Every participant should know what they own.

Coordination improves speed only when accountability remains visible.

Client / insured

Provide complete and accurate information, consent to authorized data use, complete requirements and approve the final decision.

Writing producer

Own the client relationship, licensing, disclosures, recommendation, application, delivery and required documentation.

WSG case desk

Support needs framing, design, approved-market evaluation, underwriting preparation, case status and placement coordination.

Carrier / underwriter

Determine evidence requirements, risk classification, capacity, product availability, offer and issuance.

Legal / tax advisors

Review ownership, trusts, entities, agreements, tax assumptions and legal implementation.

Securities parties

Supervise variable or private-placement activity, communications, suitability and transaction requirements where applicable.

What problem should the coverage solve?

Submit high-level planning context only. WSG will identify the next approved intake step and the information needed for triage.

Do not include health details, medical records, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial statements, account numbers, tax documents or other sensitive information in this public prototype.

Good preparation improves clarity, not certainty.

No. Only the carrier determines evidence requirements, classification, capacity, terms and issuance. Preparation can improve the completeness and clarity of a submission but cannot guarantee an outcome.

Not automatically. Broad submissions can create duplication, inconsistent information and avoidable market friction. Carrier outreach should be intentional, authorized, suitable for the case and consistent with approved relationships and carrier rules.

Where a carrier permits it, an informal inquiry may allow preliminary feedback based on limited authorized information before a formal application. It is not an offer, approval or binding classification, and carrier procedures vary.

Compare guaranteed and non-guaranteed elements, premiums, charges, lapse risk, benefits, riders, assumptions and sensitivity under consistent scenarios. A lower illustrated premium or higher projected value does not by itself establish a better fit.

Only through a WSG-approved secure workflow after the required consent and authorization. Sensitive information should not be placed in ordinary email or a public website form.

The appropriately licensed producer or professional responsible for the client recommendation retains that duty, including suitability, disclosures and documentation. WSG's case desk provides support within approved relationships and applicable licensing.
